For Visitor data collected through the Widget, the Account Holder acts as the Data Controller and Brand2Chat acts as the Data Processor.
  • Data Processors (or Service Providers): Data Processors are natural or legal entities that process data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may utilize the services of various Service Providers to enhance the efficiency of data processing.
  • Data Subject (or User): A Data Subject is any living individual who uses our Service and is the subject of Personal Data.

As an Account Holder, you are the Data Controller for your Visitors’ data. Brand2Chat processes this data on your behalf as a Data Processor. You are responsible for ensuring that your website’s privacy policy informs Visitors about the use of live chat and the data it collects.

Usage Data

We may also gather data regarding how the Service is accessed and utilized by Account Holders, known as “Usage Data.” This Usage Data may include details such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the duration of your visit on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

For Visitor data collected through the Widget, the legal basis for processing is determined by the Account Holder as the Data Controller. Account Holders are responsible for ensuring they have a valid legal basis for collecting and processing their Visitors’ data through the Brand2Chat Widget.

Retention of Data

Brand2Chat will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Chat conversation history and Visitor data collected through the Widget will be retained for the duration of the Account Holder’s active subscription or free plan. Upon account closure or termination, data will be retained for a period of 30 days before being permanently deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Usage Data will also be retained for internal analysis purposes. Typically, Usage Data is retained for a shorter period unless it is used to enhance security, improve the functionality of our Service, or is required to be retained for a longer duration by law.

Account Holders may request an export of their chat data and account information at any time before their account is closed by contacting us at support@brand2chat.com .

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and stored on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

Brand2Chat may allow Account Holders to connect third-party tools and services to the platform including CRMs, helpdesks, and messaging platforms. Brand2Chat is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party integrations. Account Holders should review the privacy policies of any third-party services they connect to Brand2Chat.

Our Service may include links to websites not operated by us. Clicking on a third-party link will redirect you to their respective website. We strongly recommend reviewing the Privacy Policy of any site you visit.

Please be aware that we do not have control over and bear no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Privacy of Minors

Our Service is not designed for individuals under the age of 18.

Disconnecting Integrations

Steps to Disconnect a Third Party Integration

  1. From your Brand2Chat dashboard: Navigate to Settings, then Integrations, and select the integration you wish to disconnect. Click the Disconnect option to immediately revoke Brand2Chat’s access to that third-party service and stop any data sharing between the platforms.
  2. If you delete your Brand2Chat account: All active integrations will be automatically disconnected upon account deletion. All associated data stored in our system from those integrations will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure.

Child Safety Standards

At Brand2Chat, we are committed to ensuring a safe and secure online environment for all users and website visitors. We have a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. The sharing, promotion, or facilitation of such content or behavior is strictly prohibited on our platform and through any Widget installed by our Account Holders.

We actively monitor for violations and take immediate action, including content removal, account suspension, and reporting to relevant authorities.
