Brand2Chat, operated by Light 2 Speed Private Limited, provides a way to request deletion of your account and personal data, including data received through connected services such as Facebook. This policy explains what you can request, how to contact us, and when some information may need to be retained. For details about how we collect and use information, see our Privacy Policy .

Data Deletion Rights

You can contact us to request deletion of your personal data, including when:

  • The data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • You withdraw consent where processing depends on your consent.
  • You believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
  • Deletion is required under applicable law.

Requests are subject to identity verification and any applicable retention requirements described below.

Scope of Deletion

Depending on your request and the information we hold, deletion may include:

  • Personal account information, such as your name, email address, and business details.
  • Account credentials, preferences, and integration access tokens.
  • Chat conversations and visitor information associated with your account.
  • Data received through connected third-party services, including Facebook.
  • Usage and analytics information that identifies you, subject to the retention exceptions below.

You may request deletion of data from a particular integration without requesting closure of your entire Brand2Chat account. Please specify the scope in your request. Deleting an account or its data may prevent you from continuing to use the associated services. If you need an export, contact us before your account is closed.

Data Retention Exceptions

As described in our Privacy Policy, certain information may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce legal agreements, or address security and abuse. Any retained personal data remains subject to our Privacy Policy and is kept only for as long as necessary for the applicable purpose.

Facebook Data Specifics

If you connected Facebook to Brand2Chat, you can request deletion of the Facebook data we hold by following the email instructions below. Identify the connected Facebook account or Page so that we can locate the relevant data.

You can also remove Brand2Chat’s access through your Facebook account’s app or business integration settings. Disconnecting an integration stops its access; to request deletion of information already stored by Brand2Chat, contact our support team.

When your Brand2Chat account is deleted, active integrations are disconnected and associated integration data stored in our system is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure, as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Deletion from Brand2Chat does not delete your Facebook account or information held independently by Facebook.

How to Request Data Deletion

  • Email support@brand2chat.ai with the subject Data Deletion Request. If possible, send the request from the email address associated with your Brand2Chat account.
  • Include your account email address and business or website name. For Facebook data, include the connected Facebook account or Page name or ID, if available.
  • Tell us whether you want to delete your entire account, specific personal information, or data associated with a connected service.
  • We may request additional information to verify your identity or authority to manage the account before processing the request. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

For account closure, our Privacy Policy provides a 30-day retention period for chat history and visitor data before permanent deletion, unless a longer period is required by law. For other deletion requests, contact support for the applicable timing and to follow up on progress; requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

If you are a visitor who chatted with a business using Brand2Chat, contact that business first. The business controls the visitor data collected through its chat widget, and Brand2Chat processes that data on its behalf. You may also contact us with the business’s website and details of your request so we can help direct it appropriately.
